It seems like everyday it’s National Cookie Day, or National Eat Ribeye Steak Day. It gets to the point where everyday we’re supposed to celebrate something. Or a long list of something’s. Have you ever thought about creating your own National Day? Why pay a fee for something you can do yourself?
These are not official holidays created by the government. Most of the time they can be tracked back to the industry, or company, that benefits the most. Other times it goes back to those few companies out there that, for a fee, will let people create their own National Day and put it online. Then others can find the list, or get publicity for the day and people celebrate it.
All you have to do to create your own National Day is to come up with one. Then share it with everyone and on all social media platforms you can. If you want to write about why you created that day; you can. You don’t need to fill out an application, pay a bunch of non-refundable money, and hope your day gets picked.
Just create the day, put it out there and see what happens.
